Job Description
A leading Oil Servicing Conglomerate urgently requires the services of resourceful and experienced professional to fill-in the position of Assistant Manager-Welding and Carpentry
Responsibilities:
• The incumbent is expected to plan, organize, manage and coordinate the repairs, operation, modification, inspection, replacement, and maintenance of major features and related utility equipment associated with welding and carpentry in the company
Education:
• Electrical or Mechanical Technician from an accredited institution higher education with cognate experience in welding maintenance, carpentry repairs, and facility maintenance
• Solid experience in Welding and Carpentry repairs as well as troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of welding and carpentry and mechanical systems
• Established knowledge of preventive maintenance and repair practice and procedures
• Proven background in the supervision and management of a maintenance environment
Experience:
• Cognate experience in a top level functional welding/carpentry maintenance role within the oil and gas or manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership and consensus building skills
• Sound management and planning skills
• A proven track record in developing and administering a winning overhauling program is a must.
