A property development and building materials marketing company based in Lagos have employment vacancies for the following positions on the Island.
1. PM: Project Managers
  • Candidates must possess a BSc /HND in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying / Building Technology with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience in Building Construction of which at least 2 years have been management and administration.
  • Project Management certification and Information Technology proficiency will be an advantage.
2. PE: Project Engineers
  • Candidates must possess a BSc/HND in Building Technology or Civil Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in construction supervision
  • Competent in the use of engineering design program and ability to co-ordinate the activities of the project sites.
3. QS: Quantity Surveyors
  • Candidates must possess a BSc / HND in Quantity Surveying.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years cognate experience i the consulting or contracting environment.
  • Candidates must be computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office tools and familiar with Microsoft Project Software.
4. SPE: Senior Project Engineers
  • Candidates must possess a BSc / HND in Building Technology or Civil Engineering with a minimum of 7 years relevant experience in construction supervision.
5. PA: Project Architects
  • Candidates must possess a BSc / MSc in Architecture.
  • At least 3 years post certificate experience.
  • Ability to use ArchiCAD/ AutoCAD
6. MEE: Electrical & Electrical Engineers
  • Candidates must possess a BSc / HND / ND in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering with the ability to diagnose and rectify faults.
  • A minimum of 5 years cognate experience in Facility Maintenance or a related field is a prequisite.
7. FM: Facility Managers
  • Candidates must possess a BSc / HND / ND in Civil Engineering /Building Technology
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Facility Maintenance or a related field is required.
  • Candidates must be good leaders with proven technical and management skills who will co-ordinate and provide technical direction for the development design and system integration of projects.
8. MSR: Marketers, Sales Representatives
  • Candidates must possess HND in a relevant discipline and at least 3 years on-the fields marketing experience in building materials, furniture and sanitary ware are a prerequisite for consideration.
9. HT: Hardware Technician
  • Candidates must possess HND in a relevant university degree or HND with 3-5 years experience in this field.
  • Also candidates with PTC, Trade Test or City & Guilds qualification with a minimum of 10 years experience can apply.
10. IE: Installation Engineers
  • Candidates must possess an ND in a relevant discipline and at least 3 years cognate experience installing ware and furniture.
11. SK: Store Keeper
  • Candidates must be Computer literate.
  • OND Holders with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Access programs will be an added advantage.
12. SE: Secretary
  • Candidate must have a first degree preferably in Secretarial Administration with a high level of computer proficiency (MS Office Suite).
  • A minimum of 5 years experience is required.
  • Candidates must have a high level of integrity, excellent interpersonal relationship skills, good communication skills, and excellent command over the English Language.
  • Tremendous self confidence, passion for excellence and perfection, analytical thinking capacity, good planning capability and time management skills.
  • Candidates must have the willingness to learn, capacity to work under continuous stress, ability to patiently handle difficult task and face tough situations.
  • Proficiency in short hand / speed writing is essential

2011 RECRUITMENT INTO THE NIGERIA POLICE FORCE (NPF) CADETS ASP AND INSPECTOR - GENERAL DUTY

Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals for Appointment into the Nigeria Police Force as follows:
(i) CADET Assistant Superintendent of Police; and
(ii) CADET Inspector of Police.
Applicants must have a genuine desire for a Career in the Nigeria Police Force and must satisfy the following General and Specific requirements:
(i) GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
(a) AGE: Applicant must be between 19 and 28 years of age;
(b) HEIGHT: Not less than 1.68 meters (5.6 inches) for Male and 1.6 meters (5.4 inches) for Female;
(c) CHEST MEASUREMENT: Expanded Chest Measurement which is for Male only, must not be less than 83cm (34”); and
(d) PHYSICAL FITNESS: Candidate must not have any Physical Deformity and will before appointment, be required to pass a Medical Examination of Physical Fitness conducted by a Government Hospital.

(ii) QUALIFICATIONS:
(a) CADET ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT OF POLICE: Candidate must be a graduate with a Degree or Higher National Diploma in Social Sciences, Arts, Criminology etc, from a recognized University or Polytechnic with a minimum of Second Class Lower and Upper Credit for University and Polytechnic graduates respectively.
b. CADET INSPECTOR OF POLICE:
(a) ‘A’ Level or equivalent
(b) NCE or equivalent
(c) ND or equivalent; and
(d) In addition, a prospective candidate shall be required to possess five Credits including English and Mathematics in WASC/SSCE/NECO;
(iii) METHOD OF APPLICATION:
Application Forms can be downloaded FREE OF CHARGE from the Police Service Commission’s website @ www.psc.gov.ng. The Forms must be completed in Quadruplicate and submitted at the Office of the Commissioner of Police of applicant’s State of Origin with the following attachments:
(a) Photocopies of Credentials;
(b) Letter of Identification, signed by the Chairman/Secretary of the Candidate’s Local Government Area; and
(c) Four recent Passport Photographs.
