DRILLING ENGINEER

 JOB TITLE: DRILLING ENGINEER

Job Details    (Ref:  2011-DW-02)

Evaluate well design alternatives to provide auditable design basis for chosen development plans.

Perform Drilling Engineering functions.
Challenge all well designs as part of a peer review process.
Direct overall well planning operations and in doing so serve as an Operational Excellence Champion.
Focus on the leading indicators of safety and well construction.
Provide mentoring to newly hired engineers.

Minimum of Five (5) years relevant post degree work experience as a Drilling and Well Design Engineer (includes National Youth Service)

Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division.

- Mastery of Wellview Drilling and Database Application
- Demonstrable knowledge of well planning softwares
- Good planning, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Effective communication skills

Applicants must be between the age of 18 and 22 years for Non-Tradesmen/women and 26 years for Tradesmen/women at the time of entry into the Depot NA. For female Applicants, possession of Nursing, Catering, Computer Operations etc certificates has added advantage.

Applicants must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit and must not be less than 1.68 meters tall for men and 1.62 meters for women.

Applicants must be free of any Criminal conviction.
Applicants must submit all duly completed forms (printed from this online portal) at the recruitment centre.
